Match report Another fantastic team performance securing 20 points for the 2nd week in a row!

The skipper lost the toss........again and was asked to bat first.........again!

A good opening partership from Nick Rotsey and Neil Brathwaite saw the team off to a flying start but with Nick getting out after miscuing a pull, Neil carried on from where Porky left over with a blistering 122! Phil Apps got out to an absolute pearler of a delivery for 3 but Tino regained some batting form with a fantastic knock of 99! The only batter in the top 6 to get some runs now is our overseas superstar Cam! A cameo inings at the end saw us reach a a total of 303 from 51.5 overs and knew straight away that they would need to get out the oppositions main man, Lee Deller of they were to win the game!

Credit goes to Wickford for chasing the total full bloodedly throughout there innings but the departure of Deller, run out for 99 by a direct hit by the skipper (the only ball he picked up all afternoon) combined with some fantastic catches from Saul and Nick saw us home!

Another great second spell from Rehan and another great spell of spin bowling from Reggie (4 - 50) and the last wicket from the first ball of Sauls spell get special mention.

A fantastic team effort for the 5th game in a row! Need to carry on in this vain if we want to win this league.
