Match report Another fantastic team performance from a very depleted side with only 5 regular 2nd teamers available. The 6 new faces just carried on from the previous week.

The day started well with the skipper actually wining a toss and asking a opposition to bat first on a terrible Walthamstow wicket which would always favour the bowlers.

Reggie in particular took full advantage of this, getting the first 3 wickets but then Walthamstow started to get away a little bit. A heavy downpour allowed us time to gather our thoughts and pull ourselves together! Great bowling spells from Sooty (A.N. Other), Saul and Reggie who finished with 7 - 39 (4 of which were off of the off spin variety) helped us to restrict the oppo to 136 all out.

Our reply started shakily, losing the top 3 in pretty quick succession, but a fantastic partnership between Saul and Kieth helped to steady the boat. Both played invaluable knocks on an awful track which would have been worth double on another wicket!

Kieth's step son Daniel came in with a few lusty blows at the end to see the game home and win us the game and get us 18 points!
