Match report A fantastic win against the side at the top of the division inspired by a fantastic spell of bowling by our 16 year old star!

A rare success for the captain with the toss of the coin allowed us to ask Chingford to bat first on an absolute road of a track at the Paddock, but some tight bowling coupled with some good field settings allowed us to keep the opposition under lock and key throughout their innings.

The openers fell after a while, and then came the fantastic 2nd spell of bowling from Rehan. He seemed to run in harder and faster and put in more effort and bowled that nagging length that did not allow the batters to come forward or go back.

Rehan got 4 wickets in 5 balls spread out between 2 overs which really ripped the spine out of the Chingford batting order. Credit still goes to the Chingford batters as any lesser batters of the 4 that were caught behind from rehans bowling would have failed to even have got an edge on any of the balls that were bowled to them. Rehan finished with 12 - 6 - 10 - 5.

We managed to bowl out the oppo for 118 with James McKay bowling a long spell from one end keeping things nice and tight getting 3 wickets and Josh Peters blasting out the other 2.

We made light work of the runchase, batting sensibly and slowly seeing the game home as we should have done with only 2 wickets falling which denied Chingford of any points from this match.

Another great team effort, but we need to continue playing this intensity of cricket if we want to win this league and certainly if we want to hold ourselves in the Premier league next year.
