Match report Another win, and another step closer to promotion and the league title. A crucial toss won by the vice captain Reggie allowed us to ask Gidea Park to bat first on a wet Paddock wicket due to the rain all week.

The wicket was misbehaving considerably for the hour or so and skipper took full advantage of this bowling accurately and getting key wickets. Reggie supoprted well at the other end, but Shoab was pick of bowlers, finishing with figures of 6 - 34 from a long spell of 16 overs (well overdue!)

Special mention though goes to Sikki for an awesome one handed flying catch!

The last wicket was claimed by Russell Beckett just 3 balls into his spell finishing the Gidea Park innings on 84 all out.

It then took just 11.2 overs for the Fives batters knock off the required runs. Pick of the batsmen, Nick Rotsey with a quickfire 56 not out.

Another 18 points and another step closer to promotion.
