Match report PROMOTION!

A vital toss won with 3 points needed to secure promotion lead to an easy decision to bat first on a typical fives wicket. But poor batting saw us tumble to 50 - 5 (nothing is ever easy with Fives I am led to believe) but a fantastic innings of 84 from Rahul and a stubborn innings of 16 from Saul saw us pass 150 and secure the 4 points as well as promotion. This allowed us to bat freely and we finished on 193 all out.

A care free attitude in the field saw us gift the opposition with runs and they wrapped things up in 31 overs.

They win but finish mid table, we lose but get promoted to the premiership! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!!!
