Match report Horndon won the toss and elected to bat 1st. In a crucial 1st hour Horndon managed see off our opening attack just losing one wicket. However it could and should of been so much better. There was a number of drop catches and a lot of playing and missing. In the end Horndon finished on 194 for 7. A tight final over from Vinay kept them below the 200 mark. The main stay of the bowling was Mohsin who bowled 20 overs up the hill for only 60 runs.

In reply Yaz went early but a good partnership between Stan and Steve Greene put us in the driving seat. We then lost 2 quick wickets. Uriel then pulled it around with some lusty blows. 90 runs off 20 overs looked on. However, Uriel was out at a vital stage. We needed to keep wickets in tact for the final run chase. A quick 20 from Vinay but still 26 were required off the last 4 overs. In the end the soft ball and the low bounce made it very difficult. Steve Greene fell in the penultimate over having made 71. It was just one of those days where the luck was not with us.
