Match report Another comfortable cup win for the boys although the performance was little under par .
Our batting was a bit patchy . Two sloppy run outs and some tired shots contributed to us not posting enough really ( 127 for 5 )
Performances of note were William Buttleman ( 31 retired ) and a fine stand between Oliver Pyne and Viraj Gandhi .
Our bowling up top ( Harry 3 overs for 8 ) was consistent again and stopped the game as a contest . The first 8 overs went for 28 , leaving Brentwood needing 100 off 12 . We continued bowling and fielding tightly . With the field well set we kept our stranglehold on the game and with around 50 runs off of 13 overs ( Viraj first 3 overs for 6 ) the game was won , however the last 7 overs were very poor both bowling and fielding wise , with many overthrows the team had a real tired look about them .
We really do need to bowl and bat for 20 overs if we want to win this competition .
Brentwood ended on 114 for 7 .
