Match report Fives put up a marvellous showing in the Essex cup semi final against Westcliff to win comfortably by 83 runs

Another well crafted inning of 149 for 5 with retirements from Buttleman , a super knock by Kelsey and another destructive finish by Dennis set a good total for the team to defend .

The Westcliff lads were not going to die wondering and came out trying to hit the ball hard but panic set in a little with our excellent bowling coming through again .
Oliver Pyne made two fantastic run outs and took a fine catch in the deep to dismiss their danger man . With kelsey taking two wickets and Harry taking 1-14 in his 4 this is regularly making sides panic to catch up with run rate later in the innings with Viraj Gandhi performing well also 2-15 .
17 for 6 and Westcliff really looked bedazzled . We spread the bowling out a bit and finished the job with 66 runs on the board .
A fantastic win and really good luck in the final boys .
