Match report Well it had to happen sometime .

Our U13 team lost their winning streak going back to October 2012 in the indoor in emphatic fashion .

Losing to Eastcote cc on a ground resembling the 18th at Muirfield , unfortunately we didn't have a Nick Faldo on the day and the boys struggled with the contours , officialdom and their own nerves .

A shame for such a fine contest to be so uneven because of a specifically engineered pitch / ground ( there was a beautiful 1st team ground 5 yards away ) for the home side .

Six run outs never help .

Cricket administration baffles me . Good luck to Norfolk and Suffolk whose clubs got a bye to the next round .
