Match report The bs hosted our closest rivals from Buckhurst Hill on a fine sunny morning at the Paddock.
As seems to be par for the course we lost the toss and were asked to bowl first.
We did this brilliantly pressurising the batsman and were quick and alert in the field.
Joe picked up 3 including a caught and bowled, Jamie clean bowling 2 and Nyle trapping the number 4 lbw. Added to the 2 run outs to the keeper we tied BH down to 85-9 from 22 overs.
It certainly wasnt easy going and although Isaru retired on 30 BH bowled well and made us work hard for our runs.
It came down to our final pair Jamie and James to get us over the line, with BH's opening bowlers returning Jamie got us level and James hit the winning runs with a late cut off the last ball, edge of the seat stuff.
Really pleased with this performance as we'd worked on hitting the gaps and rotating strike at training which ended with me throwing my toys out of the pram as no one seemed to take a blind bit of notice.
The boys all proved me wrong and done just that.......what do I know?
