Match report With a good early season show the b’s went into the match with Frenford full of confidence.
Losing the toss we bowled first and had the opposition under the kosh early on.
Both Ollies and Omers spells were quick and hostile with Tom and David the perfect foil taking the pace off of the ball, captain Jack bowled some serious wheels without too much luck.
Frenford finished on 114-4 with their no.3 bat returning and taking them to what proved too good a score.
In reply we never looked positive enough and instead of looking to rotate the the strike and run our 3’s the lure of the big shot was always looming.
To be fair Jack did put us back in the game when we were 4 down with some fantastic hitting over the top finishing 53no.
A little more faith through our innings in our batting partners may well have proved the difference here.
As proved by the opposition quick rotational play, almost tip and run, is extremley effective indoor.
Im sure the b’s can learn this lesson and move forward to beat the a’s in the league this year!!
