Match report
A young spirited Fives under 15 team lost to a strong Oakfield Parkonians team. Richin Patel (u.12) made his debut and opened the bowling, he showed great maturity, at times the opposition struggled to hit him as he bowled good line and length. Charles also did well with the ball, taking 2 wickets.

Having squeezed our opponents with great intensity in the field, after 6 overs we had restricted them to 44 runs, but in the remainder of the overs they upped the run rate and we were left chasing 123, which was a tall order.

The boys battled well in the chase, with Jack retiring on 25, Billy and Joe both not out on 17 & 15 respectively but we came up 36 runs short.

I was delighted with the attitude of the team, the boys were unfazed facing a strong and older opposition.
