Match report Having won the toss again we elected to bat first. A fine start by new boy Simon Fitzgerald including a 6 off the first over. He looked well set for a fast 25 but was then unlucky to be caught off a deflection from the bowlers out streched hand. I have never seen Steve Ambidge move so fast as he fell to the floor moving out of the way of the ball which seemed set to be Simon's 2nd six. The positive start continued with all batsman making runs although we should have made more in the final over again.

In reply all the bowlers bowled well particuarly the President and wickets tumbled through out. Also Fitzy was able to pick up some good wicket keeping tips from Stan which should stand him in good stead for next season!! A good first win.
