Match report The 2’s beat a strong and well drilled Billericay side on Saturday which was there first win of the season, the team that include 2 40 year olds and two 50 year olds and the young Charlie Allen.

The tone of the day was almost set 4th ball of the innings when like the brittle performances of the twos this year Doigys bat split in two. A total on 162 with some good contributions from everyone apart from the number 11 (You Know Who) did not seem enough on a good track.

However Fives were quick of the mark with Roger taking a wicket first ball of the innings and proceeding to take three more to put them on the back foot and the Rockstar kept nagging away with his bowling. We kept chipping away and helped by some great catching by KD, Resit and Adders kept the pressure on the oppo.

Once Doigy with his left arm trundle disposed of the dangerous Samit Patel look a like…Nick bought on You Know Who for a quick burst to see if he could get the last two wickets and 4 balls was all it took a win by 26 runs.

The 2’s registered their first win not bad for a team on 3-4’s.

The question is how will Braths, Mckay, OJ and Rehab… get back into a winning side?
