Match report Strange occurences were happening on Saturday at one of my personal favourite grounds Hadleigh. Where does one start.....Roger Braths being at the ground at 12.15pm, Chris Batt enjoying our performance, Neil getting a first baller, bat throwing in the changing room, Mark Dennis giving the side a lesson in ground fielding whether by hook or by crook, a Fives bowler having the opposition batsman in constant trouble, Abbas taking a catch at slip...the list is endless. It may have taken almost a season to achieve but surely there is a win at the end of a long hard season lurking next week if we keep this up, scant consolation for a torrid season but a win is a win
The outcome....a defeat by two wickets, arguably because we did not use up 7 of our 52 overs.
