Match report A dissappointing loss to a strong Wanstead side! Fives won the toss and decided to bat first on a good looking wicket. All of the top 6 got in and out with nobody looking in much trouble but on the same account none of the top six managing to go an get a big score.

We should have got 250+ but managed to end on 229 all out with Jacko and Ben Briton top scoring with 45 and 44 respectively.

The fives team seemed a little subdued in the field for some reason but still managed to rock the Wanstead top order having them 59 - 3 at one point with Ali taking all 3 wickets. This saw the Wanstead youngster Chritian Burgess come to the crease and score a 118 not out and eventually see the game home with 5 wickets to spare. Ali was the pick of the bowlers taking 4 for 70 from 12 overs but a lack of support from the other end was our main downfall.

A bitter loss to the old rivals but we need to pick ourselves back up and get back to winning ways!
