Match report Fourth game of the season and we finally get that first elusive win. We won the toss and inserted a weakened Loughton side who had some players missing due to a wedding.

Loughton started well and batted sensibly on a a track which was wet but played perfectly normally and ended up with 249 - 8. Wickets were shared by the skipper (3-71), Reggie (3 - 67) and Ali (2 -58).

This was a lot more than they should have gotten but we were not fazed at all by the fairly large total and chased it down with precision. Jacko dropped anchor and batted pretty much all the way through was suppported ably by the other batsmen. There was a slight wobble at the end but Keithy went in and saw the ship home with Ian.

18 points! onwards and upwards!
