Match report Fives won the toss and elected to bat on a HOT roasting day. On a very good batting track Agi (51), OJ (54) and Kula (56) passed fifties. Some very good batting display from Agi, OJ and Kula. Good running between wickets helped the Fives scores to 274 for 7 declared.
Opponents start their innings positively with young Essex player Saunders showing maturity. Uncalculated quick run (hitting straight to Kula and a quick thinking from Kula ) and consequent runout gave Fives a possibilities to penetrate Hornchurch. At one point Hornchurch were 175 for 7 and we had the game in hand. But some unusual drop catches let loose and we ended up with a draw. Horcnchurch finished with 256 for 9.

Good game of cricket and it’s a win - win for both team. Timely declaration to give opponents a target they can reach and they tried.
