Match report Basildon & Pitsea won the toss and elected to field first. The skipper and Stan achieved a good start scoring 64 off the 1st 15 overs with Stan having the majority of the strike. With one wicket down Richard Wilson came to the wicket and batted very positively to score 55 taking the score to 159 for 3 off 33 overs and left us in a very strong position. It was then down to Aqeel to lead the charge to the 200 mark and declaration (off 41 overs at 3.40)

In reply Basildon batted well early on scoring 58 off the first 13 overs. Even at 110 for 3 off 28 overs they looked in a good position. But Uncle Yaz decided to turn it on ending up 7 for 43. Despite some dropped catches early on we went through a phase of very competent fielding (good catch from Dan F**** Scoulding) which meant we won with overs to spare.
