Match report Having been put into bat Fives got off to a flyer with Jack Dennis and Sam Adcock dominating the Horndon bowling with a partnership of 73 off 11 overs. Sam got out out for 29. Jack was joined by Neil Brathwaite and both continued to score freely. Jack was riding his luck and despite the oppositions sledging he went on to score 124. Neil ended on 69 and the partnership put on 165. Michael Batt 17 n.o. and Steve Doug 16 n.o. meant we ended on 272 for 3. Horndon got off to a solid start on a wicket which was now playing very well. Aqeel Ilyas made the early break through taking 2 wickets in 2 balls then a brilliant run out by Sam Adcock meant the opposition were 3 down for not many. Unfortunately we then took our foot off the gas and struggled to take wickets. The bowling was not as accurate as in previous weeks and with the team running out of ideas Horndon ended 233 - 5. Well done Jack. 10 points earned
