Match report This week we fielded one of our strongest teams of the season but again the bowling at the death let us down as it did the week before. We won the toss and elected to bowl. We started well - the bowling was good and we took a couple of early wickets. West Essex 2 - 26. Unfortunately we couldn't breakthrough again until the 34th over and with wickets in hand West Essex started to pile on the runs scoring 104 runs in the last ten overs. Arunesh Ragutharan on his deputy bowled 6 overs 1 - 26. Chasing 266 on a fast outfield was not out of the question but when we lost Gary early on it was going to be difficult. Neil batted well and him and Simran took the total to 85. We then started losing wickets as the run rate increased and ended 43 short. Disappointing and not what we needed as we approach our last 6 games!
