Match report Another day another loss! Chingford won the toss and put us in to bat. The innings started well for us with James and Haider taking brilliant catches to get rid of both openers. However, their middle order played well and their captain scored a century. As always, we dropped a few chances and the result was that the opposition made 253 in 43 overs for 6 wickets and declared. We started the batting in a positive manner but lost Shahrukh in 7th over and after that wickets kept on falling at regular intervals. However James, Haider, Neil and Danny played good innings but their efforts were not adequate to save us from getting bowled out at 197 in 43.1 overs; a mere 4 overs shy of saving the game. It would have helped our cause if we had 11 players but unfortunately the missing 11th player cost us both in the field and when we batted. All is still not lost yet for us and if we can play well in the next two games and win them, we may still avoid relegation. So fingers crossed and lets hope we put up a better show in the next two games.
