Match report A match played in glorious warm sunshine was somewhat spoilt by the Sawbridgeworth number 3 deciding that he would be proud to tell his grandchildren how he had scored his highest ever score (165) in an end of season friendly against 10 men and a bowling attack consisting largely of 12-14 year olds. That said, a brilliant 125 in only 88 balls from Gary Norris and 81 from Bhommer got Fives to within 26 of Sawbridgeworth's mammoth total. In addition, the young bowlers performed admirably, particularly new boy Peter Kilpatrick (12) making his debut for the club who bowled with good seam presentation and control.
