Match report A very good performance by the U15's over 40's, team starting with ten players until Dave Chapman managed to persuade Upal Banerjee, Adita's Father to play. Fives made 165 against good tight bowling by Buckhurst Hill, David Chapman top scored with an excellent 59, increasing the run rate at a crucial time, with good support from Chris Campbell 27, and Vinay Thakaria 34. Fives then set about bowling out Buckhust Hill starting with an excellent opening attack of Greg Summers 2 wickets and Chris Campbell 1 wicket, all the other bowlers contributed with Vinay Thakaria and James Sibley both picking up two wickets each, and Upal picking up 1 wicket. I must also mention an excellent catch by Jack Chapman at cover. Simon Mckay playing only his second game this year had the number 10 batsmen stumped near the end. Overall an excellent performance by Fives, who have some very talented U15 players, and just to finish the day off, the match was played in very good spirit, which is exactly what these games should be about.
