Scorecard

Harlow v Fives and Heronians Cricket Club Saturday 3rd XI on Sat 24 Jul 2004 at 1.30
Fives and Heronians Cricket Club Lost 6 Wickets

Match report Excellent innings of 163 not out from Steve Ambridge showing exactly what should be done with fairly friendly bowling on small ground. Steve hit the highest score of his career which included 17 fours and 9 sixes and allowed the declaration to be made after just 35 overs.
The F&H generosity did not stop there as both Harlow openers were then dropped in the crucial 25 minutes before tea. On a hot afternoon, the F&H bowling, catching and fielding was poor allowing Harlow opener Lee Hesketh (ex Loughton) to score 99 and secure the game for Harlow.
