Match report Once again an already depleted side was reduced by a further 2 late on Thursday evening due to drop outs from higher elevens. Both 3rd and 4th teams were forced to play with 10 players.
Again contraversial decisions affected a game played in very hot conditions. The bowling figures are not flattering but the bowlers did not bowl at all badly with Rob Allum putting in a very good performance and beating the bat almost every over.
Faced with a score far in excess of the side's capabilities a draw was the best result we could have achieved. Simon, despite his variety of injuries, batting sensibly and resolutely throughout for 75 not out
