Match report Batted first. Neil scored another 25 retiring in the 6th over. Stan came in and initially struggled. The skipper retired in the 9th over. We finally ended up on 86 for 0 (14 runs short of an ideal total)

The key was the 1st over of the oppositions reply. A good run out enabled us to have them one down for not a lot. If we had then taken a couple of half chances provided by the other opener then it would have been game over. But it was not to be despite the skippers taking 2 wickets. We lost with just over one over remaining.

Not bad for a team of wicket keepers !! It was good to meet up with a few ex Laindon Taverners players.
