Match report Fives batted first in great weather on a good batting track. Neil and Graham put on 58 for the first wicket, and then Kishen and Neil took this further reaching 136 before Kishen was bowled. Jack Jerrom then came to the crease and started striking the ball well and pushed the score to 163 with Neil, before Neil was caught in the deep for an excellent 95. Shiren then batted destructively and together with Jack took the score to 233 before he was caught for 41 after striking the ball to all parts of the ground.

Jack and Roger then opened the Fives attack and bowled well but the Loughton Openers batted well, despite this Jack and Roger were making the batsman play and miss without quite finding the edge on this occassion. Just as Loughton were looking dangerous, Kishen got the crucial breakthough with his off-spin, getting Jones who was looking dangerous caught in the covers. Greg then followed up in the next over getting Jani the other opener out LBW and Fives were on their way, good support from James bowling who kept things tight, an excellent spell by Kishen with 3 wickets, and the Skipper picked up 4 wickets for 4 runs in three overs to complete the victory. A good win and very enjoyable game.
