Match report Another good win for the Fives U15 Over 40's. Fives batted first and put on 67 before Neil fell to a good square leg catch. Robbie then followed with the score at 85 and then Kula was caught near the boundary with the score at 87, and it was time for Fives to rebuild. The skipper then followed with score at 114 and a lot of work was then left for Jack and Greg to do, which they did outstandingly well, with Jack making 55 not out and Greg an excellent 81 reaching a total of 242.

Fives then opened the bowling with Jack and James. Jacks was a good hostile spell and could have had the opening batsman caught with first ball of the innings but it was put down at slip. James picked up two wickets caught behind in the fourth over with some excellent away swing bowling and fives were on their way again. Greg bowled well picking up three wickets with some good hostile bowling and Jack, Alan and Michael all picked up a wicket each. The weather threatened an early finish, but just held off and James came back for a second spell and picked up a further two wickets to end with an excellent 4 for 23 off 8.
