Match report Bringing together the former 2nd XI opening partnership of Neil Brathwaite and 'Squeeker' O'Mahoney was an inspired move by captain Franklin as Fives recorded their first indoor over 40's win of the season.
Britannic Lodge batted first and got off to a flying start, but Fives gradually reeled them back in aided by five run outs to leave a target of 89. Neil and Squeeker also got off to a flying start notwithstanding a first over maiden, Neil retired in the 4th over, Clive joined 'S' to take Fives to the brink of victory, a little wobble saw 3 wickets fall quickly but the returning Neil guided Fives home with two balls to spare. Neil finished with a fine 42 not out and Squeeker 25 not out
