Match report The second eleven cruised to a third consecutive win at the Paddock on saturday in the last of our friendly matches. Fives batted first and made 206-7dec, with a massive contribution of 87 from Faizal Shah who on debut was very entertaining and destructive of the bowling. There were small but useful contributions throughout our innings which enabled us to reach a good total. When it was Fives turn in the field the bowling and fielding was very good. Star of the show was Dominic Addison(5-20) who was bowling a good line and length. Rob Allum and Faizal also picked up a couple each during thier spells. Behind the stumps Jack Swash once again excelled taking 5 good catches and in general keeping very tidy. It was left to 10 year old Charlie Rudkin to finish the game off taking their final wicket and top scorer.
All in all another good display from everybody. The oppostion were not the strongest in the world, but it was good to see Fives competing properly, but at the same time enjoying what was actually a good friendly game.

Next week the real test will begin when the league starts.
