Match report Fives won the toss and decided to batt on a good batting track. Rohan Qureshi kept the innings together, after a slow start, Rohan accelerated in the last 20 overs of the innings, batting brilliantly with his total of 92.
There were also good contributions from Haider and Daniel Lewis.
Cassowaries flew out of the blocks with, aided by some indifferent bowling and fielding, on our part. Michael Knapton had to leave the field with a serious knee injury. Jaqs took over behind the stumps, with Rohan suffering from cramp, after his long innings. Ultimately too many drops catches on our part cost us the game, five in total.
Best to get these drop catches out of the way in a Friendly game now, rather than a league game.
