Match report The curse of the double header struck once again and a tired performance led to a shock defeat in the hands of our old friends south loughton .
Harry Samuel won the toss and batted and after losing William early caught at mid on we laboured along . We looked tired between the wickets and after losing Tom to a run out we needed some stability .
Harry and Charles were going along nicely but Harry fell clipping one into the net that fell nicely for the south loughton fielder . The exact same happened to jack and after losing Isaru it was left to Charles to see through the overs but his runner was out in the late part of the 11th to leave us 94 all out .
With jack keeping we experimented through our bowlers but to be fair South Loughton batted well . They rarely missed out on threes and although their net shots fell kindly they was always up with the rate.
William bowled very well to bring us back into the game though and with 27 needed of 4 it was game on .
Harry bowled 2 overs for 9 to take it to the last over but with a good over for SL in between they struck the winning run with 4 balls to spare.
