Match report After winning the toss Fives chose to bat on what was another glorious summers day at the paddock. Having lost Jack Jerrom in the early overs to a good ball it was set for Robbie sheenan and Jake Poulter to establish a partnership. Hitting the ball to all parts of the ground, Robbie was eventually dismissed for 61. Jake stayed in for most of the overs finishing on 143 for his second hundred on consecutive Sundays. Fives finishing on 273 for 7 from their 40 overs.
A great opening partnership by cockfosters put them in a good position to win the game. However, the Samuel brothers soon ended both bowling superb seven over spells, Will finishing with his first five wicket haul in mens cricket and Rob with 2 wickets. This left cockfosters only 31 runs short after an enjoyable and competitive days cricket.
